How to Check a Tipster's Track Record
A useful record lets you reconstruct what followers were actually advised before the event.
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Every selection | Cherry-picked winners can create a distorted picture. |
| Timestamp | Shows the selection existed before the event. |
| Advised odds | Needed to understand the stated result. |
| Odds availability | Followers need a realistic chance to obtain the quoted price. |
| Stake | Results depend on how stakes are defined and applied. |
| Wins and losses | A complete record includes both. |
| Independent proofing | Strengthens support for claims about previous wins or profits. |
Sample size and selective periods
A short winning period may be real without being representative. Avoid treating a deliberately selected run as typical performance.
Strike rate is not the whole story
A percentage of winning selections does not by itself tell you whether a historical record made or lost money; prices and stakes matter too.
Never convert history into a guarantee
Historical evidence can help assess transparency. It cannot establish that future tips will win.
